Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By making a booking with ClearPath Cleaning Services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
ClearPath provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services throughout the Perth metropolitan area. Services include but are not limited to regular home cleaning, deep cleaning, vacate and end-of-lease cleaning, spring cleaning, window cleaning, post-renovation cleaning, office cleaning, retail cleaning, strata cleaning and commercial end-of-lease cleaning.
All services are performed using eco-certified, low-VOC cleaning products unless you specifically request otherwise in writing. We supply all equipment and products — you are not required to provide anything.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any service at our reasonable discretion, including if a property presents unsafe, unsanitary, or hazardous conditions that were not disclosed at the time of booking.
Bookings may be made via our website enquiry form, by phone on 0481 381 454, or by email at hello@clearpathclean.com.au. A booking is only confirmed when we send you written Booking Confirmation.
Quotes are provided based on information you supply at time of booking. Quotes are estimates only. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the actual condition, size, or scope of work materially differs from the information provided. We will advise you of any adjustment before proceeding where reasonably practicable.
For recurring services, your schedule is established at the time of your first confirmed booking and continues until cancelled in accordance with Clause 4.
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booking without charge. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service cost, to cover costs already incurred including cleaner allocation and travel.
Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled service, or where the cleaner arrives and cannot gain access, may incur a call-out fee of up to $80.
For recurring services, you may cancel at any time with 24 hours' notice. There are no lock-in contracts and no ongoing cancellation fees once proper notice is given.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to staff illness, equipment failure, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and will not charge a cancellation fee. We will offer to reschedule at the next available time.
You are responsible for ensuring our cleaners have safe and lawful access to the property at the agreed service time. Please advise us in advance of any entry requirements including security codes, key collection arrangements, or building access protocols.
If a cleaner attends the property at the agreed time and is unable to gain access through no fault of theirs, a call-out fee of up to $80 will apply to cover time and travel costs.
If you choose to provide us with a key or access code, we will take reasonable care in its handling and storage. We accept no liability for loss or damage arising from key use that is not directly caused by our negligence. We recommend the use of a key lockbox as a secure and convenient access method.
All prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Our standard pricing is available on request and may be subject to change. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Payment is due on completion of each service unless a prior written arrangement has been made. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and other payment methods as advised at the time of booking.
For recurring services, payment is due within 48 hours of each completed service. For vacate or commercial cleans, payment terms will be agreed in writing at time of booking.
Invoices not paid within 7 days of the due date may incur a late payment fee of $15 per week until settled. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts in arrears.
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of a completed service, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service being completed. We will arrange for the relevant areas to be re-cleaned at no additional charge.
Our guarantee applies to the specific areas and tasks included in your service scope. It does not extend to:
Complaints made more than 24 hours after service completion may not be eligible for a re-clean under this guarantee, though we will consider all reasonable requests in good faith.
ClearPath holds $10 million public liability insurance. A current certificate of currency is available on request at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or in connection with a service (whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) is limited to the cost of the service to which the claim relates, or the re-performance of that service, whichever we elect.
We are not liable for:
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you believe a cleaner has caused damage to your property during a service, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of the service. Claims made after this period may not be accepted unless there is a compelling reason why earlier notification was not possible.
All damage claims must include a description of the damage, the location, and where possible photographic evidence. We will investigate all claims promptly and in good faith.
We will not accept liability for damage to items not disclosed prior to the service, items of exceptional or sentimental value, or items that were already in a damaged or fragile condition.
To enable us to perform services to the standard you expect, you agree to:
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in a reduced quality of service, additional charges, or our right to decline or cease the service without liability to you.
Our cleaners have the right to a safe and respectful working environment. We reserve the right to withdraw our cleaners from any property immediately if they are subject to harassment, abuse, threatening behaviour, or if the property presents a risk to their health or safety.
In such circumstances, a call-out fee may apply and we reserve the right to cease providing services to you permanently without notice or refund.
If you provide us with a key, access card or security code, we will take reasonable steps to keep it secure. We prefer clients to use a key lockbox rather than handing over keys directly.
We do not hold or store client keys overnight. Any keys provided will be used solely for the purpose of the agreed service and returned or secured as arranged.
You must notify us immediately if you change any access codes or security arrangements that affect our scheduled services.
You must disclose the presence of any pets at the property prior to booking. Pets must be secured in a separate area during the service to ensure the safety and comfort of our cleaners and the animals themselves.
We are not liable for any pet that is accidentally released during a service where the pet's presence was not disclosed to us in advance. We are also not liable for damage caused by unsecured pets during a service.
You must also disclose any known hazards including but not limited to: pest infestations, mould, asbestos, biohazardous material, chemical storage, or structural issues. We reserve the right to refuse or cease a service if undisclosed hazards are discovered.
ClearPath may engage employees or subcontractors to deliver services. All personnel engaged by us hold current National Police Clearances and are covered under our public liability insurance policy.
You agree not to directly engage, solicit or employ any ClearPath cleaner for a period of 12 months following the last service they performed for you through ClearPath. Breach of this clause may result in an introductory fee of $1,500 being payable to ClearPath.
Vacate cleaning services are performed to a professional standard against an industry-standard checklist. However, we cannot guarantee that a property manager or landlord will accept the property on inspection, as individual standards and expectations vary.
Our satisfaction guarantee for vacate cleans covers returning to re-clean any specific items identified by the property manager within 72 hours of the initial clean, provided those items were within the agreed scope of the service. We are not responsible for items that were outside the agreed scope or for property manager decisions that go beyond a standard clean-to-condition requirement.
The client is responsible for ensuring the property is empty of all personal belongings before the scheduled vacate clean. If significant clutter or belongings remain, we may not be able to complete the service fully and additional charges may apply.

If a dispute arises in relation to our services or these Terms, we ask that you contact us first at hello@clearpathclean.com.au to attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will respond within 5 business days and make every effort to reach a fair resolution.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, either party may refer the matter to a recognised dispute resolution service in Western Australia, or pursue other legal remedies available under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Western Australia.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have services resupplied if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by contract.
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disaster, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or acts of God. We will endeavour to reschedule affected services as soon as practicable.
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will endeavour to notify clients of material changes by email where we hold your contact details.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and ClearPath in relation to our services.
